THE AVIATOR DOWNWIND ELITE is for downwind foilers who are serious about putting the time into learning to downwind foil. Now, what is elite? Basically, it means if you have not spent much time SUP paddling then you may need to start in flatter or calmer water with this board just to find your balance.
It can be your first board if flat water foiling is your goal but you will need to do some serious self assessment before taking it straight out into serious downwind bumps. If you are not proficient at paddling smaller SUPs or are a larger human without the best balance we encourage you to look at THE AVIATOR DOWNWIND PRO or original AVIATOR SUP as they are both designed as a more forgiving board in terms of balance for your downwind foil journey. Worth noting is the extra width that provides stability can hurt your chances at paddling up on foil as width is drag.
This board is designed for a balance of length, volume and width to provide you the perfect compromise for your downwind journey.
If you are wondering which size to go with we recommend starting with the longer boards within the range as the extra length and volume provide a substantially easier platform to start with. Once you have mastered the larger sizes you can look at dropping down in length for a better on foil experience.

The downwind SUP foil and get going in all types of conditions. From flatwater paddle starts to cranking downwind bumps. This board will make it easier for you to get going if your balance is up to the elite level that it needs to be.
Any downwind tpo flatwater conditions. It works for it all.
Elite; you need to have good balance for these boards. Generally it should be your second or third downwind SUP foilboard, not your first. If you like to throw yourself in the deep end and suffer a little this could be for you too.
The easiest possible paddle up for the elite riders. Think Molokai 2 Oahu, flattish start, big open ocean bumps and a tough upwind finish. …
Balance; it is not a stable board. You’ll want to be an elite SUP foiler not a beginner.
