About the board

General goal/theme of the board

An easy-to-use prone foilboard that has a bunch of performance features built in.

Conditions its working best

Any conditions. Whatever you usually prone foil.

Skill level its best for

Novice to pro. Just choose the size according to the level.

What you thought of when you designed it?

I wanted to design an easy-to-use prone foilboard that would work for people just starting out, but also riders that are already advanced. There are a lot of performance and ease of use features incorporated in this design.

What it possibly compromises on then?

If I could note one thing, it would have to be the fact that there are other boards in the range that can be pushed harder, if you’re a high level foiler.

Design info

Outline

Fuller nose, parallel midsection, to pulled-in tail. The fuller nose and straighter mid section, help the board plane and get on foil super early. It also assists in recovery in tricky white water sections, as the board glides more effortlessly over the foam. The pulled-in tail enables you to still drive hard into turns, without getting caught up.

Rails

Rolled with hard bottom edges, to chined tail. The rolled rails through the front half enable the bottom surface area of the board to be as big as possible, enabling earlier planning and more equal volume distribution. The hard edges help water release more efficiently, reducing drag. The narrower chined rear half ensures there’s no catching on radical maneuvers.

Rocker

Flatter with subtle nose kick and aggressive tail kick. The flatter rocker helps the board to get on the foil effortlessly. The aggressive tail kick helps when you are pumping up, or taking off. It also ensures you have more space between the board and wave in critical white water sections.

Bottom

Subtle rounded V into flat midsection. The subtle V at the front helps the board on touchdowns, it won’t immediately stick and bog. The flat planing surface through the middle allows the board to glide and glance over any sections you throw at it.

Deck

Concave Deck. We have a concave deck to get the rider as close to the foil as possible while maintaining the volume needed. It's a soft concave without any drastic edges so it doesn't trap water on the deck after takeoff. The deck line has been pulled right out to the edge of the rail edge, making the usable deck area as large as possible.

Final Statement

If you’re a beginner, or a seasoned veteran looking for a super cruisy board to up your wave count, and enjoy every session, this is the one for you!
