About the board

Skill level it's best for
Novice to Pro ...
Paddle power
Above average
What you thought of when you designed it?
I wanted to design a board for your average surfer in average conditions, healthy volume, paddle power based on volume and area rather than a flatter rocker, lots of tail area, so you can cut back on soft sections and the board continues to carry as the power backs off, yet with outline curve through the tail and advanced rocker, so its still loose to pump for speed and will fit in the pocket for a decent reo if required…
What is possibly compromises on then?
With the amount of tail area, full rails and harder edges, it doesn’t like really fast powerful waves, will tend to get slippery and out of control at high speeds and harder to get rail to rail, would not work at the Bluff West Oz, J bay or Teahupoo…

Design info
Outline
Fuller nose with a clean arc, pulling into a rounded pin. The fuller nose gives the board plenty of surface area up front, perfect for getting forward to scrape into waves or as a stable platform to put the kids or dog. The clean outline makes the board amazingly maneuverable from the middle and the rounded pin assists in redirections making the board surprisingly surfable for an allrounder.
Rails
Kind of chunky and full. More so designed for general paddling and buoyancy, not having performance surfing in mind so we're not trying to sell it as the ultimate performance board, it's really the tighter tail outline that allows a turn.
Rocker
Medium Rocker. This amount of rocker enables the board to function out in the surf and still be able to take late drops without pearling or nose diving. Yet it is still flat enough to have great paddle speed and tracking ability.
Bottom
Flat. Nothing fancy.
Deck
Relatively Flat. Due to the fuller rails, the deck is quite comfortable to stand on.
Fins
2+1. This fin setup works well. The single offers good stability and tracking whilst paddling in the flat. The side bites come in handy when you want to rip some turns in the surf.
Final Statement
Truly a board that everyONE can enjoy. If you want a board that can do a little bit of everything and is excellent for yoga, plus looks amazingly beautiful at the same time then you’ve found the ONE.
