The FLATWATER FAAST PRO is the ultimate proof of what technology can do.
Possibly the lightest, definitely one of the strongest and toughest constructions available in the water. Double vacuum, full wrapped paulownia sandwich, and an amazingly fast shape, that’s as stable as can be.
If you are looking for an extremely faast flatwater board with maximum glide and stability this is the one for you. You will be able to go less wide than what you thought
Not fast, FAAST!

WHY THE PRO RACE BOARD RANGE
With the BalsaFlex sandwich technology being used successfully for surfboards for over 20 years and now for SUP boards for over 4 it was only a question of time when a few people approached us to make race boards. Now available in paulownia TR3 Tec with added strength and even lighter.
We set ourselves a pretty tough goal, basically to make the best SUP race boards on the market. For that we invited Legend Kelly Margetts to come and take care of it with us.
He then brought over Marcus Tardrew who has had years of experience with modern race shapes and development. Finally James Casey was supposed to join Kelly on the battlefield to show off and prove these boards in contests as what they are:
The Lightest. The Strongest. The Faastest! Enjoy...

About the board
GENERAL GOAL/THEME OF THE BOARD
No compromise flatwater racing board
CONDITIONS ITS WORKING BEST
Flat water paddling and sprinting
SKILL LEVEL ITS BEST FOR
Novice to Pro.. Just choose width accordingly
PADDLE POWER
Above average
WHAT YOU THOUGHT OF WHEN YOU DESIGNED IT?
I wanted a board with maximum glide and slice through the water. designed to be stable enough to ride super skinny and still manageable when kick turning is needed. Every part of this board has been based on achieving exactly these things.
WHAT IT POSSIBLY COMPROMISES ON THEN?
Not an ideal board for the ocean or down winding due to its minimal rocker.

Design info
OUTLINE
SKINNY SLICING NOSE AND WIDER TAIL
Very skinny nose outline with tail still wide enough for kick turns. Wide tail matched with the right rocker has a very clean release and board will plane very easily..
RAILS
HARD ROUND RAILS THROUGH MOST OF THE BOARD
Fairly hard rails to keep width and stability but soft enough not to grab hold of any side chop of other boards wash..
ROCKER
MINIMAL FLATWATER ROCKER
To achieve maximum glide we have used as low rocker as possible while still keeping a clean almost planning style release from the tail.
BOTTOM
DEEP CONCAVE AND HARD RAILS
Deep concave with hard rails to aid stability and early planning.
DECK
50/50 DUGOUT
Deep dugout where you stand 99% of the time for stability then raising to flat deck profile to reduce size of dugout and therefor water filling up when in tough conditions. This makes the board useable in a variety of conditions such as tech race and ocean grinds.
FINS
SINGLE
For the best straight line performance..
Final statement
If you are looking for an extremely faast flatwater board with maximum glide and stability this is the one for you.
