The ALLWATER FAAST PRO was designed for the Carolina Cup for Kelly Margetts to compete.
A race that starts in the ocean but then is a grind in the flat before returning to the ocean, and you never know what the ocean will be like on the day. We tested it for months in everything and it failed to disappoint.
Requirements when designing was that it had to be stable for long distance, easy to ride bumps and control in general ocean conditions but also be competitive in the flat.
Perfect for downwind, rougher conditions and flat water.
A board originally designed for Kelly Margetts 2017 Carolina race. Kelly travelled with this one board only for a month racing around the USA with such good results and an amazing response from paddlers that we had to add it to the FAAST range. Basically, an all round board that's designed as a “take anywhere board” if you're not sure of the conditions you will get.
An all round board that paddles fast in any condition whether its flat, side wind or downwind.
Novice to Pro. Just choose width accordingly.
SPEED: Above average.
DIRECTIONAL CONTROL: Great.
OVER WHITE WATER: Good.
WAVE CATCHING ABILITY: Good due to tail shape.
As mentioned above it was designed for the Carolina Cup.
Not an ideal board for racing with a lot of kick turns. Look to the ALLROUND FAAST for a bop style board.
Round tail and wide nose, more pulled in than the ocean faast. The outline is similar to the ocean faast, but with a slightly more pulled in nose to help with glide and upwind.
Soft at the ends and slightly harder in the middle.
Medium rocker. The rocker on this board is very similar to the allround faast, but with a little more in the nose for sloppy ocean grinds and downwind ease of use.
Subtle single concave for added stability.
The dugout deck on this board provides more stability and power for the paddler.
Single. Good directional control.
The perfect board for racing in the ocean, flat or a mix of both. The type of board you take to a race if you're unsure of the conditions you will get.
