About the board

GENERAL GOAL/THEME OF THE BOARD

A no compromise flatwater racing board.

CONDITIONS ITS WORKING BEST

Flatwater.

SKILL LEVEL ITS BEST FOR

Novice to Pro. Just choose width accordingly.

PADDLE POWER

SPEED: Amazing straight line speed due to low rocker and outline.

DIRECTIONAL CONTROL: Above average.

OVER WHITE WATER: Average.

WAVE CATCHING ABILITY: Not as surfable as other boards in the range.

WHAT YOU THOUGHT OF WHEN YOU DESIGNED IT?

I wanted a board with maximum glide that sliced through the water. Designed to be stable enough to ride super skinny and still manageable when kick turning is needed. Every part of this board has been based on achieving exactly these things.

WHAT IT POSSIBLY COMPROMISES ON THEN?

Not an ideal board for the ocean or down winding due to its minimal rocker.

Design info

Outline

Skinny slicing nose and wider tail. Very skinny nose outline with the tail still wide enough for kick turns. The wide tail matched with the right rocker has a very clean release so the board planes very easily.

Rails

Hard round rails through most of the board. Fairly hard rails to keep width and stability but soft enough not to grab hold of any side chop of other boards wash.

Rocker

Minimal flatwater rocker. To achieve maximum glide we have used as little rocker as possible while still keeping a clean almost planning style release from the tail.

Bottom

Deep single concave. This improves stability and enables you to ride a narrower board versus a flat bottom.

Deck

Dugout standing area to keep riders lower for stability and power.

Fins

Single. For maximum straight line speed.

Final statement

If you are looking for an extremely fast flatwater board with maximum glide and stability this is the one for you.
