THE WAVE C is a modern take on a freewave board, very fast, a little bit short and stable. 

“A couple of years back I was testing out windSUP boards with windsurf rockers and I realized that a wider nose and overall platform would be a perfect board for beginner to intermediate wavesailors. The wide nose and width provide extra stability during sub-planing conditions and extra lift and stability when climbing over whitewater. The lower rocker line and double concave entry gets it up and going early and upwind fast while the shorter length keeps swing weight down for snappy turns off the top. Beginning wave sailors benefit from the great stability and early planing, while expert level sailors use the speed and compact feel for massive jumps and translating freestyle moves into the waves.” - Jonah Lepak Designer

ABOUT THE BOARD

SHAPE DETAILS | DESIGN INFO

OUTLINE:

A somewhat short outline with a very wide nose and the widepoint pulled forward leads to a smooth curve through the stance and a moderately wide squash tail.

RAILS:

Very soft tucked rails in the nose area with a release edge starting forward of the front strap and remaining tucked to the back strap.

ROCKER:

Low wave-rocker with extra nose kick and continuous curve through the stance and flat out the tail.

BOTTOM:

Flat from the nose into a double concave under the mast base transitioning through to stance to flat out the tail. The double concave promotes early planing and a softer ride while the flat adds speed early planing. 

DECK:

Flattened deck with an even thickness flow to keep a balanced forward stance in sub-planing conditions.

FINS:

Thruster setup with larger center and sidebites.

FINAL STATEMENT:

Powerwave blasting, bump & jump or float and ride down the line the Wave C does it all.
