Spending three months in Thailand for my internship was honestly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I got to work in a super creative and supportive team in a surfboard factory, close by the ocean.
I was part of the Marketing & Media Design team and helped with everything from creating social media content to designing visuals and editing videos. I worked on the design for signs, TikToks and product shots, and also learned a lot about how to tell a story through visuals. It was great to actually see the things I made go online and be part of real marketing campaigns.
What I really loved was the freedom to bring in my own ideas and try out different styles and formats. The team trusted me, gave me helpful feedback, and always encouraged me to be creative.
Besides the work, living in Thailand was just amazing. I went surfing, played beach volleyball with locals almost every evening, and went on so many unforgettable trips to different islands and places around the area. I met so many kind and interesting people from all over the world – and every day felt like a new little adventure.
This internship definitely helped me grow – not just in design and media, but also personally. I became way more confident, independent, and open to new experiences.
